Ridewise win the Shape up Notts! Workplace Challenge
In June this year, Sport Nottinghamshire launched the Shape up Notts! Workplace Challenge across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire to find the county's fittest businesses with four prizes totalling £8,000 up for grabs. The teams at Ridewise, Nottingham Land Registry & Agathos Systems and are now officially the fittest and most environmentally friendly in the city and county after winning the Challenge. The Challenge, which finished at the end of October saw businesses from across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire battle it out for the top spot by swapping their cars for bikes and changing their lifestyle habits to become more active. Competitors from each company gained points for the amount of CO2 they saved, as well as for the amount of exercise they did.
UKBCA ConferenceThe team at Intelligent Training Systems have announced the date of the inaugural UK Biomechanics Conference in Leicester next Friday. The event will launch the United Kingdom Biomechanics Coaching Association to over 50 Biomechanics coaches.
