Ironman UK 70.3
Compressport were proud to be the sponsor of Ironman UK 70.3 this weekend. The event was held at Wimbleball Lake in the stunning Exmoor National Park and has the reputation of being the toughest 70.3 course on the international circuit.
It was a fantastic result for the Compressport women with a 2nd from Eimear Mullan 5.01.49 and 3rd from Lucy Gossage – 5.03.43, commenting on her first pro race Lucy said “What an epic weekend at IMUK 70.3. Not my best race performance ever but one of my most gutsy if i do say so myself! A* for effort, A- for performance. Couldn't have given anything more today though and mega chuffed to make it up to 3rd in the last 500m or so. Massive well done Eimear Mullan for a storming race and coming so close to getting the win.”
