About Us
Very Berry's marketing expertise is based on twenty years in sports marketing working for the likes of Speedo, Adidas, British Cycling and UK Sport.
Current projects include teaming elite athletes up with Boots' Miles for Macmillan campaign to get more women active; helping DFS to partner up with the British Women's Volleyball Team; sports marketing for Adidas on swimming and triathlon; and marketing support for leading compression brand Compressport.
Founder, Melanie Berry, started Very Berry in 2009 after eight successful years at Perfect Motion Sports Marketing Ltd. During that time, she transformed the business into a multi-faceted sports marketing and PR agency.
Before this, Melanie worked at Speedo International as their International Sports Marketing Manager. She managed their involvement at events including the Sydney Olympic Games, FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour (1996 – 2002) and 1997, 1999 and 2001 World Championships and the World Triathlon Championships.
Outside work, Mel is a passionate cyclist, swimmer and triathlete. In recent years she has cycled from Lands End to John O’Groats, completed a UK Half Ironman triathlon and cycled up the legendary Alpe D’huez as part of L'Etape du Tour. She is currently a non-exec director of a local cycling charity that aims to get more people into cycling, Ridewise. (add in link here
